Nurul Huda Ahmad Nawawi is a counsellor with a particular passion for family, marriage and couple counselling, as well as supporting children, adolescents and adults through emotional, relational and mental health challenges. She holds a Master in Counselling (Family Counselling) from Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM), where she graduated with a CGPA of 3.94. Her multidisciplinary background also includes a Master of Science in Actuarial Science from Heriot-Watt University, United Kingdom, and a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).
Huda has gained hands-on counselling experience working with individuals, couples and young people. During her placement at Pejabat Agama Daerah Hulu Langat, she conducted more than 50 marriage and couple counselling sessions. She has also worked with secondary-school students, conducting mental health screenings using the PHQ-9 and GAD-7 and providing both individual and group counselling to students experiencing mental health concerns.
Her areas of interest include family and relationship concerns, marriage and couple counselling, adolescent and child counselling, mental health and emotional well-being, career counselling, and Islamic psychology.
Beyond individual counselling, Huda is actively involved as a trainer, facilitator and panel counsellor. Her experience includes programmes relating to family development, cyberbullying and online safety, and adolescent well-being. She has also served as a panel counsellor with several organisations and as a MIASA Crisis Team Volunteer.
Huda believes in creating a supportive and non-judgemental environment where individuals and families can openly explore their challenges, strengthen their relationships and work towards meaningful and sustainable change.
She provides counselling in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
