Throughout her career working as a primary care practitioner in the government health clinics as well as a general practitioner in a private clinic, she have seen a wide array of patients with different health conditions including mental health conditions.

Her clinical experience has developed strong capabilities in mental health screening, risk identification, brief intervention, treatment planning, health education and appropriate referral. She has supported patients presenting with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, sleep difficulties, and the interaction between physical and psychological health.

She is committed in building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, empathy and confidentiality. She communicates clearly in virtual settings, establish rapport remotely, explain clinical information in plain language and use active listening to help patients feel respected, and supported. She encourages patients to communicate openly and participate actively in decisions about their care.

She is also adaptable, digitally capable and comfortable working independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary online healthcare team. Her volunteer background includes providing immunisations and consultations as a volunteer medical officer with Rohingya Refugee under Islamic Medical Association Malaysia (IMAM Relief and Response Team).
