A compassionate and dedicated General Practitioner with over 12 years of clinical experience providing comprehensive, patient-centred care across diverse community and primary care settings. Graduated from medicine from Universitas Sumatera Utara in 2010 and subsequently Postgraduate Diploma in Family Medicine in 2014 from the Academy of Family Physician, Malaysia and holds a Certificate in Mental Health and professional qualification in life coaching and NLP. Her main expertise is primary care especially family medicine. 

Throughout her career working as a primary care practitioner in the government health clinics as well as a general practitioner in a private clinic, she have seen a wide array of patients with different health conditions including mental health conditions.

Her clinical experience has developed strong capabilities in mental health screening, risk identification, brief intervention, treatment planning, health education and appropriate referral. She has supported patients presenting with concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, sleep difficulties, and the interaction between physical and psychological health.

She is committed in building a therapeutic relationship based on trust, respect, empathy and confidentiality. She communicates clearly in virtual settings, establish rapport remotely, explain clinical information in plain language and use active listening to help patients feel respected, and supported. She encourages patients to communicate openly and participate actively in decisions about their care.

She is also adaptable, digitally capable and comfortable working independently while contributing to a multidisciplinary online healthcare team. She believes mental health support should be accessible for all, and welcome the opportunity to combine her clinical experience, mental health training and compassionate communication style to provide reliable, accessible and high-quality support to patients using your digital medical platform. She is motivated to support individuals to improve their psychological wellbeing, develop practical coping strategies and achieve meaningful recovery goals.

Her volunteer background includes providing immunisations and consultations as a volunteer medical officer with Rohingya Refugee under Islamic Medical Association Malaysia (IMAM Relief and Response Team).
